Project Ten: Delicate; Still Life Photography by LifeCreated

The Project Ten theme this month, "delicate", is perfect! It makes me think of light, airy and soft subjects, and at first I was going to show you some images of some delicate pastries, but when I saw these pine cones, I knew I wanted to photograph them. I know pine cones are not soft at all, but delicate, they can be. A pine cone's job is to harbor the seeds and release them...an open pine cone has symmetrical beauty.

My mom recently gave me a box of some vintage items: snuff jars, linens and things. I loved mixing up the pine cones and linens...the light made the delicate details stand out.
