LifeCreated: Q&A- How do you edit?

Recently some questions have popped up from a few readers about how I edit. Maybe you noticed my workshops/mentoring page at the top of my website? I now offer some insight into my editing style when I mentor. However, I would like to answer a few questions here and now! How do you edit?

Q: What program do you use to edit?

A: I have used photoshop, and love to primarily use Photoshop elements. It is perfect for me, with just enough features but not too many to overwhelm me. A lot of my images are pretty close to how you see them...I tweak the brightness and sharpness a tad in almost every picture.

Q: How long does it take you to edit an image?

A: I have spent 20 minutes on a picture before, but I will say that most of the time, each picture takes me about 5 minutes on average. Sometimes less, and sometimes a little more

Q: Do you shoot RAW?

A: Yes!

Q: Do you use actions?

There is a sharpening action that I like, and another action I like if I want to add a pop of color. Both are made by Oh So Posh Photography. Other than that, I rarely use an action.

Q: How can I watch you edit a picture?

A: Sign up for mentoring ;)
