Farm Life In Photos

You probably already know my appreciation for local farms. Really, local, homegrown and handmade is what I am for when thinking of something to photograph or somewhere to spend time.

Arizona has a lot to offer when it comes to produce and farming. I have met some of the nicest people who love to tell their story and share their goods.

Last night, as a family, we ventured out into the 109 degree heat at 6pm, and went to one of these farms that prides itself on honey, farm eggs and more.
I took a few photos of our time there, and hope they inspire you to investigate farms near you.

Luckily for us, we were the only visitors, and the nice owners took an hour to show us around, talk to us about the farm's history and let me daughter gather the eggs from the coop.

When we left, we bought some of the eggs that were just laid and some of their peaches. We came home and had fruit smoothies and scrambled eggs for dinner...talk about seeing the full cycle of real food right before our eyes.
