Some of my most fun opportunities have happened with little planning and last minute notice. Being spontaneous is something I am learning to be better at, and sometimes with photo shoots, last minute things come up and changes need to be made. As a photographer, I am learning to become more "go-with-the-flow" and not so strict with myself. This shoot was one of those quick ones! Green Table Gifts is a local vintage shop that hosts workshops and supports local artisans. One of their biggest offerings is their stock of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. They have an entire wall of paints and supplies, and every time I go in there, I am tempted to buy a few cans to redo my kitchen cabinets. As Annie Sloan stockists, they have training and the "know-how" to complete a variety of projects using chalk paint. Because they are SO creative with the paint, Celebrate Magazine decided to feature them in their May/June issue!

Patty Brees, owner of Green Table Gifts, shares her ideas with the paint in this issue, and I had the honor of photographing her projects for the multiple-page article. I am so glad I got myself a copy because they had so many other articles in there I loved. Celebrate Magazine can be found in your local book store or magazine supplier...and if you are local, grab your copy at Green Table Gifts! Patty might even sign it for you ;)

Thank you to Patty and Celebrate Magazine for letting me be a part of your article. You should have seen my excitement when I spotted it at Barnes & Noble.

*Note that in Arizona, Celebrate Magazine for this issue was printed using a different cover title: "Enjoy Everyday"
